HILLSBORO, TEXAS—The Hill County Shared Service Arrangement (SSA) hosted a celebration to congratulate five students upon completion of the Start2Finish program.
The Start2Finish program is a partnership of the Hill County SSA, Hill College, and surrounding school districts, run through the Texas Workforce Commission and designed to enhance the working skills for students who have learning disabilities.
“Anything we can do to help students and help educate, that’s what we are about,” said Dr. Pam Boehm, President of Hill College.
The Start2Finish program uses the Hill College facilities for their classes.
The mission for the Start2Finish program is to increase collaboration between Texas Workforce Solutions Vocational Rehabilitation Services and schools in order to enhance students’ skills and abilities for the purpose of creating a successful employment outcome.
